Rules

1. Winner must accept the car as is.

2. Winner is responsible for paying tax, title, and license.

3. Car is as described, and will be accepted as is.

4. Car is not guaranteed in any way.

5. Car is not guaranteed to be free of any problems and/or never to break or fail.

6. The very nature of this kind of car makes guarantees impossible.

7. Drawing to be held on August 1, 2011 at St. Jerome’s parish hall.

8. A video clip of the drawing will be posted on YouTube.

9. A typical raffle ticket will be issued for each chance purchased.

10. A numbered stub will go into the drawing bin for each ticket purchased.

11. Tickets can be purchased in cash Monday-Friday at the St. Jerome office.  For office hours please call at 979-265-5179 or visit www.stjeromeclute.com.

12. A copy of ticket can be emailed to buyer, if requested.

13. Winner need not be present to win.

14. Winner will be contacted by telephone.

15. Car must be picked up by winner or winner’s agent.

16. Car will not be shipped.

17. There is no second prize.

18. Only 2000 will be issued. Chances of winning are no worse than one in two thousand (1 in 2000)

19. Tickets are $100.00 (US dollars) each.

The car is donated to St. Jerome Church (parish) by one of its parishioners.  All proceeds of the raffle will go to the parish charities/projects as determined by the parish pastor, but will include the purchase of a parish rectory.  The purchase price of the ticket is not tax deductible for the purchaser.  (Internal Revenue Service and State of Texas tax laws and rules apply.)
